Michael Hearst "Songs for Unusual Creatures" - art, science, music, and learning!

I'm really excited about this project that Michael Hearst is working on.  It's a series called  "Songs for Unusual creatures"

There is also a book where they are working together with an artist to illustrate these creatures as well.

   

The PBS Series:

They are short bits where you both learn a bit about these strange and wonderful creatures, and it is backed up by music the musicians who wrote these songs inspired by that creature.  It is a fantastic collaboration between information, science, education, music, visual representation and an audio interpretation as well.
